Join us at Merrimac & Main for a special morning celebrating the comfort, tradition, and stories that surround something as simple as a loaf of bread.
🥖 Bread Making Demonstration | 9:30–11:20 AM
Amber Gorham from Sunny Side Down Farm will demonstrate how to make traditional yeast bread and transform it into delicious varieties like herb & cheese bread and other novelty breads.
📖 Daily Bread: Live Storytelling | 11:30 AM–12:30 PM
Cecilia Farran shares a touching story set just days after her mother’s funeral, recalling a noon meal with her father in the farm kitchen. Through the story, she explores grief, family, farming, the seasons, and the ways food can bring comfort and connection.
