The vast majority of the work that gets done at M&M happens through volunteer support - everyday people who pitch in, doing what they love and care about. It's a great way to be part of something impactful.
We could use help with the following:

Teach adult classes in the fall - do you have a skill that you could teach others? We are hoping to launch a series of Adult Workshops in fall 2024. Ideas include: knitting, sourdough starting, film-making, programming, second languages, and conflict resolution.

Lead a Middle-School activity in the fall - We are looking for adults to teach a 60-90 minute class for middle schoolers on Wednesdays around 4:15 PM, on baking, cooking, board games, dance, Spanish, painting, and other activities.

Help at a pop-up event - We often need help setting up tables, chairs, and signs for events, and help putting everything away at the end! This usually takes about 30 minutes.

In order for our programs and events to happen, here are a few of the items we could use:

Furniture, such as desks and chairs for our co-working space, and lounge furniture for a recreation room (a clean, sturdy couch and arm chair)

Food, for events - we especially love getting gift cards to local restaurants! It's a win-win. We get amazing food and they get additional business!

Technology, such as a laptop, tablet, and various cables - right now we are borrowing from volunteers and it would be great to be able to keep something on site

Baby stuff, for the new playgroup that's starting. They would like bottle warmers and foam mats for crawling hands and knees, and eventually fun new toys.
