ILLUMINATE: secular gatherings for spiritual exploration

This gathering meets every other Sunday. You are welcome at as many or as few as you'd like!

Join your neighbors for a series of intimate, reflective gatherings where we explore what it means to be human, to connect meaningfully, and to be part of something bigger than ourselves. This is a space for those of us who crave spiritual depth, curiosity, and thoughtful engagement.

We started with four gatherings this winter, and we've loved it, so we're continuing a little longer.

At each gathering, a "host" will offer a few minutes of introductory thoughts. We will spend about ten to fifteen minutes in shared silence - you are welcome to journal, draw, walk, meditate, or pray as you'd like. And then, because we believe that every single one of us has wisdom, we will share our reflections together. Each week is a little different! Sometimes we are rowdy and jovial, sometimes quiet and contemplative, sometimes awed and reverent. If you don't like it one week, try it again and see what shifts.
