How to start a cottage food business from your home kitchen! Want to make a little extra money from home making your own baked goods or canned jams and pickles?
Amber Chitwood, director of the Ridgeway Farmers Market and owner/founder of Sunny Side Down, LLC, will show you how to get from your kitchen to the farmer's market in as few steps as possible.
Through a two-part class and hands-on mentoring, you will learn the rules and regulations, plus some expert advice on starting up your business, so you can safely and effectively launch your own Cottage Food Business in time for the summer market season!
This class meets on Tuesday, March 18 and Tuesday, March 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. It is not a class about baking or cooking, but specifically about the rules, regulations, and best practices of starting up your own Cottage Food Business!
