About the event

Curt Meine, PhD, is a conservation biologist, environmental historian, and writer/editor. His fascination with our regional landscape of southwest Wisconsin prompted him to co-edit the book The Driftless Reader (2017).  Curt will explore the rich natural and human history of the Driftless Area, and all that makes this place so different and special.

Join fellow curious minds in the stained glass sanctuary at Merrimac & Main. You'll come in through the glass door on Main Street, head upstairs, and find any seat on a cushioned pew. (We do have an elevator!) The lecture will likely be about 45-minutes or so, followed by Q&A. Feel free to mingle after with neighbors!

This event is part of DRIFTLESS DAYS, a celebration of the Driftless Landscape, in partnership with White Oak Savanna, the Mining & Rollo Jamison Museums, & a few local churches.

This lecture is provided for FREE for everyone, thanks to…
